Music

FCA is known for its excellent music department. The Academy offers a variety of musical training opportunities.  We begin in Kindergarten through the sixth grade with a weekly music class that introduces both theory and music appreciation.  Simple instruments are introduced to further the musical abilities of the students.

Private lessons are available for students starting in the 3rd grade.  Private lessons offered included piano, voice, brass, woodwind, and string.  Students are given many opportunities to gain experience in performing before an audience through recitals, school programs, chapels, and special events.

FCA also has Elementary, Junior High, and High School choirs, chorales, ensembles, and special groups.  The students can participate and collaborate through our strong beginner and intermediate band as well as a strings ensemble.
